การเปิดตัวรถบัสอิสระ King Long ในวิทยาเขตสิงคโปร์

An autonomous bus from King Long was put into service at the campus of Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore this January to provide shuttle services to students.

Called the MooBus, this autonomous bus uses the chassis-by-wire from Apolong, King Long's autonomous vehicle, and integrated with MooVita's – a Singapore autonomous driving technology provider – Level 4 autonomous driving solution for urban city driving.

The Moobus is equipped with intelligent system that can automatically count the number of passengers. Using computer vision technology and deep learning algorithms, this intelligent system uses cameras inside the autonomous bus not only to record the number of people pick up at each stop and the time of the bus arriving at the next stop, but also to observe what happens on the bus in real time. This helps to reduce manpower and ensure that the buses are running safely.

To make it easier for passengers to plan their trips, the bus also is equipped with a bus information display system that transmits data collected by the intelligent system to display the location of the bus, upcoming stops and the number of passengers.
